Guest Speaker: Cathy Powell

Cathy Powell is a minister's wife, and Christian school teacher from Jackson, Tennessee.  She has a B.S. in social work, and a Masters Degree in Education from FHU.  She has taught young ladies every summer for the past 15 years at FHU's Horizons. 

Though she has spoken at retreats and Ladies Days in five states, she really prefers to be best known as David's wife, and Nathan and Katie's Mom.  Her husband, David Powell, is the pulpit minister at North Jackson Church of Christ.  When she is not teaching school or groups of ladies, Cathy loves to decorate and fix up old houses.  She loves antiques, and going junkin’ on the weekends
